About the Author
James Patrick Hyland served a total of 21 years in the military, first in Vietnam and later in the Army National Guard. He retired in 2005 as a Chief Warrant Officer 4. In addition to receiving a law degree in 1975, he received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and presently has an active practice in counseling. Pat and his wife Leslie live in Oregon.
